About Us
Mihwa Lee
Founder & Adviser, Former Ballerina
Mihwa Lee is a Korean ballet dancer, teacher and adviser.
Born and raised in Tokyo, Mihwa began studying ballet at the age of 12, and received her formal training in Vienna, London, San Francisco, and Washington DC. Her instructors include Vakil Usmanov, Michael Fichtenbaum, Septime Webre, Han Kee Juan, and Salwa Rizkalla. Mihwa received her degree in classical ballet (Paritätische Bühnenreifeprüfung and the diploma of the Europaballet) at the Europaballet Academy St. Pölten in Austria.
Mihwa has performed internationally on stages worldwide including in the United States with the Columbia Classical Ballet and Festival Ballet Theater (with Artistic Director Salwa Rizkalla).
Mihwa's mission is to encourage aspiring artists to discover the joy of learning ballet and to provide avenues for those seeking international training and performance opportunities.
